Lecia Van Horn
Segment Producer, MAKING IT!

Lecia Van Horn is a journalist with two decades of experience in some of the most respected newsrooms in the Industry, including CNN in Atlanta, and KNBC, KABC, and KTLA in Los Angeles.

While at CNN, Lecia covered the Invasion of Panama, China’s pro-Democracy Tiananmen Square protest, the Fall of the U.S.S.R., and the Gulf War – all of which broke on her shift.

Van Horn has also worked in local television at WSB-TV in Atlanta, KSTP-TV in Minneapolis/St.Paul, and WYFF-TV in Greenville, South Carolina.

 
 

Lecia also ventured into online journalism as Vice President of News & Publications for www.SUCCESSisFUN.com. SiF! produced careers news for internet executives and technology professionals. It was featured on AOL, CNNfn, and CNN.com. SiF’s weekly newsletter, “RealLife, RealTime”, enjoyed a subscriber base from Venture Capitalists to MBAs in such tech hubs as Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Boston, and internationally in London, Bombay, and Hong Kong.

A Los Angeles, native, Van Horn is a graduate of the University of Southern California. She lives in the mountains of Tujunga, CA. with her husband and two children.
